Description of how to use the plugin.
The image display can be interactively manipulated in the following ways:
Zooming to window size such that the entire image is visible.
Zooming to original size by selecting the “1:1” zoom.
Resizing with automatic zoom will continually display the image so that it fits into the visible area.
If auto enlarge is enabled, it will also scale up the image if it is smaller than the visible area.
Zooming in and out can be done by executing the corresponding commands via toolbar buttons or from the right-click context menu, as well as by using the mouse wheel
When using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, simultaneously pressing the SHIFT modifier will “slow” the zooming speed while holding down the CTRL modifier will “fasten” it.
If not the entire image is visible and scroll bars are displayed, it is possible to drag the visible area with the mouse when holding down the SHIFT key when dragging.
By clicking and dragging without pressing the SHIFT key, it is possible to “select” an area of the image.
Such a selection can be used for various purposes, depending on the task at hand where the image is displayed. It will also influence what gets copied to the clipboard (see below).
Copy the current image or the selected area of it to the system clipboard by choosing the corresponding command from the right-click context menu.
Rotate or flip the current image on screen (no operations performed on file) by choosing the corresponding command from the right-click context menu.
